scFLOW

Thermo-fluid analysis with polyhedral mesh

scFLOW is developed to become the new state-of-the-art tool with the breadth of new technologies and simple practical features. The software is currently equipped with a new solver designed with higher stability and up to three times faster calculation speed than before. The new preprocessor helps entry-level users build complicated models and high-quality meshes.

scSTREAM

General purpose thermo-fluid analysis system with structured mesh

Introduced over thirty years ago, scSTREAM has serviced the electronics and architectural industries by providing high accuracy and high efficiency CFD solutions. During this time scSTREAM has mainly been characterized by its overwhelming user-friendly interfaces and implementation of a structured Cartesian mesh.

A structured mesh is simple, easy to construct, and fast to solve. This mesh is comprised of many small cuboids. It is most useful for applications where tiny details and surface curvature do not have a strong effect on the overall flow field. Applications that benefit from a structured mesh include: electronics cooling, HVAC, and architecture.

HeatDesigner

Thermal Design Tool for Electronics

HeatDesigner uses core technology from scSTREAM to perform thermal fluid analysis specifically designed for electronic cooling. HeatDesigner's performance is optimized for applications that do not require precise reproduction of fine geometrical curvature to predict an accurate flow field. However, HeatDesigner is capable of accommodating meshes with over one hundred million elements, enabling it to capture fine geometrical details. Like scSTREAM, the major advantages of HeatDesigner are fast calculation times and low memory consumption.

SC/Tetra

Thermo-fluid analysis with unstructured mesh

SC/Tetra is a general purpose thermo-fluid simulation software that uses a hybrid mesh to accurately represent complex shapes and model geometry. Features such as a sophisticated mesh generation system, high speed computing, low memory consumption, and a user-friendly interface throughout to increase user efficiency.

An unstructured mesh is created using tetrahedron, pentahedron, hexahedron, and/or polyhedron elements. This allows for a mesh that represents the model with high accuracy. As a result, unstructured mesh is used for applications where precise representation of the geometry is crucial. Examples of applications that benefit from an unstructured mesh include vehicle aerodynamics, flow inside duct parts, and turbomachinery.

PICLS

Tool for real-time thermal simulation of printed circuit boards

PICLS is a thermal simulation tool which helps designers easily perform thermal simulation of PCBs. Even if you are unfamiliar with thermal simulation, you will obtain a simulation result without stress through the tool's easy and quick operation in 2D. You can import the data of a PCB created in PICLS to scSTREAM and HeatDesigner, that is, you can pass the analysis data seamlessly from the PCB design stage to the mechanical design stage.

scPOST

Comprehensive and versatile data visualization software

In Postprocessor, you can visualize the simulation results calculated in Solver. It is effective for product design reviews because in Postprocessor, you can check, for example, temperature distribution at the places that cannot be measured or observed in the actual products. You can output not only still images but also animations, as well as output files for CradleViewer.
